Luck Dragon Media Meets Nightfall at Old Tucson Studios!

I saw the first Spirit Halloween sign go up on my commute all the way back in August, which means that even though it’s still hot enough for swimming plans this weekend, it’s time to talk about Autumn!

Halloween is rapidly approaching, so our local scare shows are getting ready for visitors! Nightfall, Tucson’s biggest Halloween event, is celebrating it’s 33rd anniversary this year with new characters, bigger “scare zones,” and even more family-friendly fun! So, what does this have to do with Luck Dragon Media?

Introducing Nightfall’s Graphic Designer: Brad Peterson!

As someone who grew up with my own Nightfall tradition, it is so very cool for me to be able to announce that Luck Dragon Media participated in the creation of this years event! Since Nightfall is HERE, we can finally talk a little bit about what we worked on.

“I was very excited to make the graphics for the new Scare Zones and Haunted Houses this year,” Brad said. He used a variety of tools, like Blender and Photoshop, to design and illustrate the logos and banners. These visuals will be featured in classic attractions like Cult of Crows, as well as the newest attraction – Dabney’s Hellhouse. He also created all of the signs you’ll see around Old Tucson this Halloween, including the logo above! “It was such a fun project,” Brad added. “I hope we can get involved next year too.”

Michael, too, is particularly close to Halloween. He was formerly the artistic director of the Haunted Mountain Theater, a Halloween production at the Museum of the Rockies. His love for the season runs deep. “This year is going to be great,” he said. “We were fortunate to work with Old Tucson, and we’re excited to see it all coming together.”

It has been such an honor working on such a valuable Tucson tradition. Being part of something so beloved by the community has been truly rewarding for our team. Nightfall is open NOW and will be every weekend evening from October 2 – November 1st. We can’t wait to see you there!
